Community Involvement
The staff of J.K. Tiller Associates participates regularly in civic, community & educational opportunities.
The staff of J. K. Tiller Associates is responsible for the Adopt-A-Highway Litter Pick Up for Highway 278 between Highway 46 and Burnt Church Road. The entire staff picks up trash on this section of Hwy 278 once every other month.
J. K. Tiller Associates, Inc. has been selected as the landscape architects / planners for several area parks for The Trust for Public Land and works closely with Russ Marane of that organization.
The design staff of J. K. Tiller Associates recently took a field trip to Charleston, SC to visit many of that area’s developments, parks and other sites of interest in order to gain additional insights into good planning and design of the built environment.
Josh Tiller recently graduated (June 9, 2004) from the Hilton Head Island / Bluffton Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Class of 2004.
Josh Tiller is participating in the United Way Campaign for Beaufort County in the capacity of assisting Brendan Bambrick of Shelco with fund raising in the design and construction industries.
Josh Tiller and Wallace Milling recently completed a two day course from the Center for Collaboration and Education in Design in preparation for the landscape architects licensure examination.
Marie Bright recently participated in the Bluffton “Lock Up” for Muscular Dystrophy and raised $500 for “Jerry’s Kids”.
